InStep Physical Therapy & Performance Footwear was established by Tom Labisch PT, LAT, CSCS, Bob Corby PT and John Ochsenwald LAT, MS; Three medical professionals who share more than 60 years of clinical experience. 

We developed InStep to service a growing need for physical therapy services that go beyond the treatment of an injury.  InStep is a unique facility that combines physical and athletic rehabilitation services, performance footwear, orthopedic and sports medicine supplies, all under one roof. 

InStep offers physical and athletic rehabilitation services and products to help recover from and/or prevent injury. Our services are provided by experienced and caring clinicians who can put you on the road to a faster and complete recovery.  Or, if you need proactive care, our clinicians can develop an individualized preventative exercise program just for you.  Based on our evaluation and your biomechanics, we can develop a personalized exercise program to help prevent injuries and keep you moving. 

Along with our rehabilitation services, InStep is a specialty shoe store carrying a full line of running, walking and dress casual footwear from manufacturers such as New Balance, Rockport, Saucony, Asics, Brooks, Montrail and Vasque.  We provide professional and individualized shoe fitting and offer video gait analysis to determine whether your shoes or inserts are performing like they’re supposed to.  You can trust InStep to fit you correctly with the best footwear to match your feet and your needs.  InStep also designs and fits shoe inserts and custom orthotics, as well as custom sandal-orthotics and clogs from Birkenstock and Bite.

InStep carries a full line of sports medicine supplies such as braces and supports and home therapy tools.  We carry medical-grade braces and supports for various conditions including tendinitis, sprains, strains, back pain, and more.  InStep can provide you with home therapy kits to help you manage your plantar fasciitis, achilles tendinitis, iliotibial band syndrome and the like.
