John is a state licensed, nationally certified athletic trainer and has been practicing since 1980. He received his undergraduate degree in health Education from Ohio State University and his Masters Degree in Kinesiology-Sports Medicine from the Universityof Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. John was the assistant athletic trainer for the University of Illinois' football, wrestling and baseball programs for 10 years. He is now the Director of Sports Medicine/Head Athletic Trainer/Clinicall Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. As the Head Athletic Trainer at UW-Milwaukee, John works with all athletic teams, and most directly with men's soccer and men's and women's swimming and diving. John enjoys running and golfing. He is married and has two daughters.
